People's Finance News, March 25 - The National Health Commission announced that according to relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases, effective April 1, 2026, Chikungunya fever and Fever with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome will be incorporated into Class B infectious diseases for management, and prevention and control measures for Class B infectious diseases will be adopted.

People’s Financial News, March 25 — The National Health Commission announced that, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases, starting April 1, 2026, chikungunya and dengue fever with thrombocytopenia will be classified as Category B infectious diseases and managed accordingly, with preventive and control measures for Category B infectious diseases implemented.
