Ledger launched a two-week "Security Season" campaign offering bitcoin rewards to users who purchase its hardware wallets and move assets to self-custody accounts. The campaign runs through April 7, with users eligible to receive between $10 and $80 in bitcoin rewards depending on the device model. Additionally, users can earn extra rewards up to $110 by using Cryptotag seed phrase backups and the Ledger Recover service. The company stated that this initiative aims to combat increasingly rampant "fund draining" scams through economic incentives and promote the security of its offline hardware private key storage.
