National Bureau of Statistics: Methanol (Premium Grade) Price Increased 9.8% in Mid-March

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, compared to early March 2026, the prices in mid-March increased as follows: caustic soda (liquid alkali, 32%) rose by 5.9%, methanol (premium grade) increased by 9.8%, pure benzene (petroleum benzene, industrial grade) went up by 8.7%, polyethylene (LLDPE, melt index 2 film grade) increased by 10.0%, polypropylene (fiber grade) rose by 9.9%, styrene-butadiene rubber (BR9000) increased by 9.2%, polyester filament (POY150D/48F) rose by 13.0%, and liquefied petroleum gas increased by 8.5%.
