The Observatory states that temperatures in most areas of Hong Kong today rose to 28 degrees or above. As of 5:30 p.m., the Observatory headquarters recorded a maximum temperature of 30 degrees, breaking this year's highest record once again, and marking the fifth highest March record on instrumental record.Kwun Tong recorded a maximum temperature of 30.9 degrees, breaking the highest March record since the meteorological station was established. Tai Lam recorded 27.8 degrees, also tying its own highest March record.Outlook for Friday and Saturday: warm during daytime, relatively humid in the early morning and evening. Early next week: partly sunny and hot with a shower or two.

The Observatory stated that most parts of Hong Kong experienced temperatures rising to 28°C or above today. As of 5:30 p.m., the temperature at the Observatory headquarters reached a high of 30°C, breaking this year’s record and ranking as the fifth highest March temperature on record.

In Kwun Tong, the maximum temperature reached 30.9°C, breaking the March record since the weather station was established. Tai Lo Shan recorded 27.8°C, tying its own March record.

Looking ahead, Friday and the weekend will be warm, with cooler and more humid mornings and evenings. Early next week, there will be periods of sunshine and heat, with a few showers or thunderstorms.
