Abstract generation in progress

A lawsuit filed by Lux Optics CEO Ben Sandofsky has disclosed that Apple attempted to acquire Lux Optics, the developer of iPhone camera apps like Halide, in summer 2025. After acquisition talks collapsed, Apple hired Lux co-founder Sebastian de With, leading Sandofsky to accuse de With of misappropriating company funds and taking confidential source code to Apple. De With denies these allegations, claiming the lawsuit is retaliatory after he raised concerns about financial irregularities at Lux Optics.
