Abstract generation in progress

Technology licensing company Adeia has settled two patent lawsuits against Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) regarding semiconductor technology. AMD will take a multi-year license to Adeia’s semiconductor IP portfolio for an undisclosed sum. The lawsuits, filed in November, alleged that several AMD processor models, including those with “3D V-Cache” technology used in AI chips, infringed on Adeia’s patents related to improved semiconductor manufacturing.
