Lockheed Martin completes live SPY-7 radar test for Japan’s ASEV

Lockheed Martin, in collaboration with US and Japanese defense agencies, successfully completed a live target tracking exercise for Japan’s Aegis System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) using the SPY-7 radar system. The test involved searching, detecting, identifying, tracking, and discriminating live targets, concluding with virtual engagements. The SPY-7 radar, which is also used by other international defense clients, is compatible with the Aegis Combat System and can track multiple advanced ballistic missile and air threats simultaneously.
