South Korea's SK Hynix Plans US Listing to Raise 78.4 Billion

South Korea’s memory chip giant SK Hynix has announced that it has submitted a confidential filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with plans to issue American Depositary Receipts (ADRs).

SK Hynix aims to complete the listing by 2026, but the details regarding the issuance scale, structure, and schedule have not yet been finalized.

Earlier reports by Korean media indicated that SK Hynix is considering raising between 10 trillion and 15 trillion Korean won (approximately $8.3 billion to $12.4 billion USD) through a U.S. listing, with plans to expand capacity for advanced memory chips.
