On March 25, Apple is reportedly testing a standalone Siri voice assistant app, along with a new “Ask Siri” feature that can run across its various software. This is part of a broader major upgrade to its artificial intelligence (AI). Sources familiar with the matter say Apple is also modernizing Siri, giving it a new interface and a chatbot-like experience. These individuals, who requested anonymity due to the confidential nature of the plans, indicated that the new Siri is scheduled to be announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8, as part of iOS 27 and macOS 27 operating systems.
