Malaysian police conducted consecutive enforcement sweeps in Hilir Perak, Perak State, successfully seizing 41 illegal mining machines within just two days. According to Bakri Zainal Abidin, the head of the Hilir Perak police district, the large-scale enforcement operation was carried out in three phases—24 pieces of equipment were first confiscated Friday night, followed by two search operations early Saturday morning that recovered 9 and 8 machines respectively.

Police stated that the devices in question are suspected of violating Section 427 of the Penal Code and Section 37 of the Electricity Supply Act 1990. The case is currently under investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time. This operation demonstrates the authorities' continued crackdown on illegal mining activities.
