U.S. Military Claims to Have Destroyed Over 100 Iranian Navy Vessels

Xinhua News Agency, Washington, March 16 — Commander of the U.S. Central Command, General Cooper, released a video statement on social media saying that the U.S. military has destroyed more than 100 Iranian naval vessels.

Cooper said that the U.S. military will “continue to rapidly weaken Iran’s ability to threaten the freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding areas.”

He also stated that the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps aviation units have conducted over 6,000 combat flight missions to eliminate Iran’s ballistic missiles, drones, and maritime threats, and are targeting Iran’s missile and drone manufacturing systems. (End)
