Fourier Semiconductor's IPO filing in Hong Kong has been approved; founder Xu Xiaolin previously worked at NXP.
Rui Finance Wang Min On March 13, the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a notice regarding the “full circulation” registration of Shanghai Fourier Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Fourier Semiconductor”) for overseas issuance and listing, as well as unlisted domestic shares.
According to the registration, Fourier Semiconductor may issue no more than 38,333,332 overseas-listed common shares. Forty-one shareholders plan to convert a total of 98,889,800 unlisted domestic shares into overseas-listed shares and list them on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for trading.
Additionally, the attachment to the registration notice discloses the full list of 41 shareholders and the number of shares applied for full circulation, including Transsion Holdings, Huacheng Technology, Dacheng Financial Intelligence, Chao Yue Moore, and others.
Fourier Semiconductor may have already submitted a confidential application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Public information shows that Fourier Semiconductor was established in May 2016. It is a leading domestic provider of perceptual intelligent chips, focusing on pioneering innovations in smart audio and tactile feedback.

The founder, chairman, and CEO of Fourier Semiconductor is Xu Xiaolin. His career spans companies such as JVC Electronics, Youshang Electronics, and Epicon Microelectronics. From 2008 to 2016, he served as the head of NXP Semiconductors’ Audio Business Unit in China.
