Chinese Citizen Robbed on Streets in Osaka; Consulate General in Osaka Reiterates Warning for Chinese Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Japan Recently

On February 25th, a Chinese citizen was attacked on the streets of Sumiyoshi Ward, Osaka City by unidentified individuals. The victim’s backpack containing 5 million yen in cash was stolen, and the suspects are at large. The Chinese Consulate General in Osaka immediately contacted local police, demanding that Japan quickly investigate and effectively protect the safety of Chinese citizens in Japan. Recently, Japan’s public security has been unstable, and similar cases have occurred frequently.
