China's AI large model usage has exceeded the US for two consecutive weeks, with the mysterious model Hunter Alpha making the list

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the latest data from OpenRouter shows that last week (March 9 to March 15), the weekly call volume of Chinese AI large models increased to 4.69 trillion tokens, up 11.83% from the previous week. The US AI large models had a weekly call volume of 3.294 trillion tokens, a decrease of 9.33% week-over-week. Chinese AI large models have surpassed US models in weekly call volume for two consecutive weeks. Last week, the top three global call volumes were all from Chinese AI large models. Notably, the mysterious model Hunter Alpha appeared on the list, with a weekly call volume of 0.666 trillion tokens, ranking seventh. According to model descriptions on OpenRouter, Hunter Alpha was launched on March 11. This model is built specifically for agent applications, featuring over a trillion parameters and around 1 million tokens of context.
