On March 15 local time, Iran released photos showing that the defense installations at the Prince Sultan Air Base, home to the U.S. military in Saudi Arabia, were damaged during “Operation True Commitment 4” in the 51st wave of military actions.

The Prince Sultan Air Base is the main U.S. military installation in Saudi Arabia, located about 100 kilometers southeast of the capital Riyadh. White House documents indicate that over 2,300 U.S. troops are stationed in Saudi Arabia in 2024, with missions including assisting Saudi air defense and missile interception, as well as supporting U.S. aircraft operations.
