Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 13 (Reporter Xie Xiyao and Wang Yuhui) — On March 13, the Ministry of Commerce’s spokesperson answered questions from reporters regarding the China-U.S. economic and trade consultations. He stated that, by mutual agreement, He Lifeng, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will lead a delegation to France from March 14 to 17 to hold economic and trade talks with the U.S. side. Both parties will be guided by the important consensus reached during the China-U.S. leaders’ summit in Busan and previous phone calls, and will conduct consultations on economic and trade issues of mutual concern.
