Regarding U.S. President Trump's recent post calling on multiple countries to deploy naval vessels for convoy operations in the Strait of Hormuz, four countries — France, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom — have responded.

France stated it will not deploy naval vessels. France's Foreign Ministry account posted on social media platform X, stating, "No, the French aircraft carrier and its task force will continue to remain in the Eastern Mediterranean."

Japanese officials told local media that Japan will not deploy vessels merely because of Trump's call, and stated that "Japan makes its own decisions in response, and independent judgment is crucial."

South Korea's presidential office announced on the 15th that it will carefully consider Trump's call and maintain "close communication" with the United States.

A British Defense Ministry spokesperson told American media regarding the relevant call that the United Kingdom is "currently discussing a range of options with our allies and partners to ensure maritime security in the region."

Al Jazeera reported that the above responses indicate that so far, no country has publicly responded positively to Trump's call.
