To actively implement the original mission of “Finance for the People,” on March 12, China Life Gansu Branch, in collaboration with Donggang West Road Police Station and Pingliang Road Community, visited the Lanzhou City Chengguan District Disabled Persons’ Federation to hold an educational campaign themed “Clear and Bright Financial Networks, Protecting Peace of Mind in Consumption.” This event focused on the needs of special groups, using a government-enterprise-community collaborative model to bring professional financial consumer protection knowledge and warm, convenient services to people with disabilities, effectively enhancing their awareness of financial risk prevention and rights protection.\n\nAt the event site, a consultation service desk was set up, displaying informational leaflets and science popularization boards covering topics such as preventing telecom and online fraud, identifying illegal proxy withdrawals, protecting personal financial information, and rational investing. Staff members, wearing ribbons, targeted key groups such as middle-aged and elderly people and persons with disabilities, using one-on-one explanations and case analysis, broke down common marketing tactics and risk traps in financial networks with simple language. They guided residents to remember the principles of “not trusting blindly, not revealing information, and not transferring money,” safeguarding their “wallets” from the source.\n\nFor the special community of residents with disabilities, China Life Gansu Branch and Chengguan District Disabled Persons’ Federation jointly provided precise, convenient services. Staff offered door-to-door policy explanations and financial knowledge outreach, guiding them step-by-step in using smart financial devices to help bridge the “digital divide.” They also explained in detail the rights that financial consumers are legally entitled to, making the special groups feel safer, more empowered, and happier while enjoying financial services.\n\nThis “3.15” financial consumer protection community activity is a vivid practice of China Life Gansu Branch’s efforts to deepen consumer rights protection and serve the people’s interests. As a state-owned financial and insurance enterprise, the company always prioritizes safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of financial consumers and continuously promotes normalized and long-term financial education.
