On March 11th, on the highway exit ramp in Wuwei, Gansu Province, a semi-truck with license plate Jin M repeatedly and maliciously changed lanes to block a motorcycle behind it twice while driving on the highway, causing the motorcycle to lose control and slide backward. Video footage shows that after the semi-truck first changed lanes to block the motorcycle from overtaking, the motorcycle swerved to the other side but was again forced to stop by the semi-truck’s lane change, ultimately sliding and falling from the left to the right side of the road. On March 13th, traffic police confirmed that they had identified the semi-truck driver involved and held him fully responsible for the accident. The motorcycle rider sustained only minor abrasions.
