Bloomberg: Tether Seeks $500 Billion Valuation, Plans to Complete Full Audit by End of 2026

Crypto World News reports that Tether is seeking to establish a valuation of $500 billion, making it one of the highest-valued private companies in the world. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that the company plans to complete a full audit by the end of 2026 and is currently in discussions with the Big Four accounting firms. Tether disclosed that its profit last year exceeded $10 billion and that it currently holds approximately $122 billion in U.S. Treasury bonds, making it the 17th largest holder of U.S. debt globally. Additionally, Tether is promoting its compliant token USAT in the U.S. market and has undertaken over 140 investments in fields such as artificial intelligence, energy, and brain-computer interfaces. Previously, Crypto World News reported that according to Forbes on February 27, recent secondary market trading suggests Tether’s valuation could be as high as $350 billion to $375 billion.
