Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna Have Their Holiday Mode On In 'Cocktail 2'

(MENAFN- IANS) Mumbai, March 13 (IANS) The makers of the highly anticipated romantic entertainer “Cocktail 2” revealed the first look posters of the film on Friday, giving a glimpse of Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna’s characters.

The producers also announced that the sequel to the 2012 romantic comedy “Cocktail,” starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty, will hit theaters on June 19.

Additionally, they will be releasing the teaser for “Cocktail 2” on March 18 in theaters, likely during the preview show of Ranveer Singh’s “Dhurandhar 2.”

“For more info, head to the theaters this Wednesday, March 18,” the post caption read.

One of the posters showed Kriti relaxing in a car, giving off Veronica (played by Deepika Padukone) vibes. We also noticed a tattoo on one of her feet.

Regarding Shahid’s first look, he is also giving off a breezy vibe, posing in a car with his head resting on the window.

Lastly, Rashmika, who appears to be playing a carefree, cheerful character in her next film, was seen excitedly capturing the scenic views around her with her phone.

Reacting to the first look, one Instagram user commented, “Wohooo… cocktail & movie both on the rocks.”

Another wrote, “Can’t wait… Based on leaked images from the set, it looks exciting @kritisanon is eagerly waiting!!”

“Finally, the wait is over… Can’t wait for this movie. Super Super Super excited…”, read the third comment.

If reports are accurate, Kriti and Rashmika might be playing a couple in the film, with Shahid portraying a third character in this tangled story. However, the makers have not shared any details about this so far.

Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films.
