The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has released the full version of the new educational music video “Battle of Na Zha Jiao” for 2026, aimed at educating the public in an entertaining way about fraud prevention and rallying all sectors of society to combat scams. The new music video uses artificial intelligence (A.I.) technology and is produced with a kung fu game concept.

Deputy Chief Executive of the HKMA, Ruan Guoheng, stars as a game character and performs a song himself, engaging in a showdown between the original scammer character “Na Zha Jiao” and good forces.

In the video, “Na Zha Jiao” has a versatile identity, disguising as a yellow cattle gang, customer service agent, courier, and dating partner, luring citizens to click suspicious links, provide personal information, or make instant payments. The HKMA hopes that through this kung fu showdown, it will remind citizens of the three golden rules of scam prevention:

  • Clicking on unknown links can lead to traps: Never click on links from unknown sources;
  • Chasing quick money can lead to losses: Do not trust rewards that require “prepayment of fees”;
  • Believing sweet words can risk personal information: Do not transfer money or share personal details in online dating.

The HKMA states that in recent years, it has actively used innovative methods to enhance public awareness of scam prevention. This new short film continues the efforts of previous citizen-friendly campaigns. As various sectors work together to build a strong defense against scams, the number of cases has shown signs of slowing down. According to Hong Kong police data, there were 43,212 scam cases recorded in 2025, a 2.9% decrease from 2024, marking the first decline since 2019.

Earlier, the HKMA released a scam prevention song “Link Mi Luán Zhù” sung by Ruan Guoheng and singer Yin Guang, as well as interactive community outreach featuring “Na Zha Jiao.” Recently, it was awarded the “Central Bank Award – 2026 Communications Initiative” by the international financial publication Central Banking.

The full version of “Battle of Na Zha Jiao” is now available on the HKMA’s official social media pages. 【Instagram】【Facebook】
