Winning International Design Awards Again!! Two JD.com Jing造 Products Win German iF Design Award

Recently, the list of winners for the 2026 German iF Design Award (iF DESIGN AWARD 2026) was officially announced. JD.com’s own brand, Jingdong Zhizao, received two original design products—the all-in-one feeding station that integrates water dispensing, milk shaking, warming, and sterilization, and the “Breath of Source” membrane cup developed in collaboration with Academician Fang Yu from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. These products won this prestigious international design award. This marks another recognition of Jingdong Zhizao’s original design capabilities, following the “Le Meng Guang Hua” chandelier (Silver Award at the 2024 Muse Design Awards), the “Huang Yun Dang Tou” cookware series (Muse International Design Award 2025, Red Dot Award Germany, and A’ Design Award Italy).

The two awarded products—the all-in-one feeding station and the “Breath of Source” membrane cup—are both born from deep insights into the real needs of specific user groups.

The all-in-one feeding station addresses the dual challenges faced by novice parents: “complicated operation procedures” and “limited countertop space.” Traditional solutions require multiple devices such as sterilizers, temperature-controlled kettles, and milk shakers, occupying large areas of counter space, and often involve confusing workflows and hygiene blind spots, increasing health risks for children. Jingdong Zhizao has achieved extreme product integration, ensuring precise water dispensing, a 16L all-stainless steel water kettle, and a 99.999% sterilization rate, while minimizing footprint. Through an integrated touch panel and logical functional zoning, it combines complex professional feeding processes—disinfection, drying, milk preparation, shaking, and warming—freeing parents’ hands and energy.

The “Breath of Source” membrane cup responds to concerns about indoor air safety in newly renovated homes. Most market products for formaldehyde removal have limited and unstable effects. In collaboration with Academician Fang Yu’s team at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this product uses a patented multi-layer porous polymer material for slow release, achieving 99% formaldehyde removal within 4 hours, with stable effects lasting up to 30 days. It has obtained four patents, including for the reaction container (Patent No.: ZL202521610369.4) and the mixing container (Patent No.: ZL202522306167.7). It transforms professional laboratory results into compact, convenient, and safe daily-use products.

In recent years, Jingdong Zhizao has continuously strengthened its original design and innovation capabilities, creating products such as the “Le Meng Guang Hua” chandelier, “Huang Yun Dang Tou” cookware, and AI plush toys that combine aesthetics and practicality. As a vital bridge connecting upstream manufacturing and downstream consumers, Jingdong Zhizao leverages JD’s super supply chain advantages to turn supply-side resources and user demands into precise product development directions. Its new product development success rate has exceeded 90%. Since its inception in 2018, Jingdong Zhizao has served 170 million users, adhering to the principle of “quality and price as shields, uniqueness as spears,” and collaborating with industrial belt factories for mutual growth.

This recognition from the German iF Design Award effectively validates that China’s supply chain system is incubating original design products with international standards. “Design” is no longer limited to aesthetic decoration but begins with demand insights, responding to contemporary consumer needs through technological research, manufacturing, and sustainable application.
