Abstract generation in progress

NXP Semiconductors has announced the i.MX 93W applications processor, which is the first to combine a dedicated AI Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with secure tri-radio wireless connectivity in a single package. This integration aims to simplify design, reduce costs, and speed up time-to-market for physical AI applications, replacing up to 60 discrete components. The i.MX 93W is designed to enable coordinated AI agents in various sectors, including smart buildings and healthcare, by providing scalable edge compute, AI acceleration, and secure wireless connectivity supported by NXP software and pre-certified reference designs.
