Summer 2025 box office exceeds 1.5 billion yuan; "Sauce Garden Lane: Suspense Case" has risen to second place
Fast Technology, June 27 — According to Maoyan Professional Data, as of 5:50 PM yesterday, the total box office (including pre-sales) for the summer season of 2025 has exceeded 1.5 billion yuan.
Among them, “Mission: Impossible 8 — Dead Reckoning Part One,” “Jiangyuan Lane: Suspense,” and “New How to Train Your Dragon” rank the top three in the summer box office chart.
“Mission: Impossible 8 — Dead Reckoning Part One,” which has been in theaters for nearly a month, has grossed 338 million yuan, ranking first. “Jiangyuan Lane: Suspense,” which just opened a week ago, has reached 262 million yuan, climbing to second place.
In “Mission: Impossible 8 — Dead Reckoning Part One,” Tom Cruise performs real stunts in the sky and sea, with continuous high-energy scenes! In this film, 62-year-old Cruise completes extreme scenes such as skydiving from 2,400 meters, free diving in -40°C deep sea, and burning parachute jumps, creating a thrilling audiovisual experience.
“Jiangyuan Lane: Suspense,” adapted from the original story by Jiang Feng, is based on one of the four major cases of the Republic of China era, the Jiangyuan Lane Husband Murder Case, in the novella “The Case Reopened.” It tells the story of Zhan Zhou, who lives on Xin Chang Road in Shanghai, killing and dismembering her husband Zhan Yunying after enduring years of abuse in the dead of night in 1944.
