The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, also known as Iran National Television, is headquartered in downtown Tehran, Iran. On the early morning of March 3 local time, an explosion was reported near Iran National Television, with thick smoke at the scene. Currently, the station’s programming remains unaffected. The Israel Defense Forces issued a statement early on the 3rd, saying that Israeli Air Force jets “just dropped dozens of bombs, destroying Iran’s propaganda and media center.” (CCTV News)
