The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a plenary meeting of the Low-Altitude Industry Development Leadership Group on February 13 to study and deploy key tasks to promote the safe, orderly, and healthy development of the low-altitude industry. Li Lecheng, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Minister, and Head of the Low-Altitude Industry Development Leadership Group, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the Party Leadership Group, Vice Minister Xin Guobin, and Chief Engineer Xie Shaofeng attended the meeting. The meeting pointed out that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China’s low-altitude industry has achieved positive results, with accelerated breakthroughs in technology and equipment, and diversified expansion of application scenarios. During the 15th Five-Year Plan period, we must earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, fully recognize the new situations faced by China’s low-altitude industry development, coordinate development and safety, adhere to policy support and reform innovation, promote deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, strengthen the enterprise innovation主体, accelerate the cultivation of industry clusters, and build an intelligent, green, and integrated industry system to steadily promote the safe, orderly, and healthy development of the low-altitude industry. The meeting emphasized the need to strengthen top-level planning, improve planning and formulation work, increase policy support for innovation and development in the low-altitude industry, accelerate standard pre-research, and establish and improve the industry standard system. Efforts should be made to solidify the safety foundation, strengthen management of manufacturing industries, pay high attention to low-altitude radio, network, and data security, and build a testing and verification system for low-altitude equipment. Actively promote integrated innovation, strengthen research on common technological issues in the industry, deepen the coordination between low-altitude equipment and industries such as new energy and new-generation information technology, and accelerate AI empowerment. Create a favorable environment, expand application scenarios in an orderly manner, strengthen scenario-driven equipment upgrades, deepen high-level international cooperation, consolidate the talent foundation of the industry, and provide strong support for the development of the low-altitude economy and strategic emerging industries.
