US Energy Secretary Claims US Military Escort Passed Through the Strait of Hormuz, Post Deleted Minutes Later

Jin10 Data, March 11th — The US Navy has not escorted a tanker through the Strait of Hormuz. Previously, US Energy Secretary Rick Perry posted that naval forces had escorted a tanker through this tense waterway, but later deleted the message. "The US Navy successfully escorted a tanker through the Strait of Hormuz, ensuring that oil continues to flow to global markets," Perry wrote on X, but did not provide further details. A few minutes later, the message was removed.

Additionally, Iran also "called out" Perry; a spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated, "Any actions by the US fleet and its allies will be thwarted within our missile and drone range. During wartime, no US ship dares to approach the Arabian Sea, Persian Gulf, or the Strait of Hormuz."
