Hong Kong stocks rebounded nearly 400 points in the first half of the day. U.S. President Trump told foreign media that the war is almost over, and there is hope for it to end. Oil prices fell, leading to a strong opening of the Hang Seng Index up 331 points at 25,740. It then fluctuated higher, reaching a maximum increase of 464 points, with a high of 25,872. The Hang Seng Index rose 396 points in the first half, closing at 25,804, with a turnover of HKD 172.01 billion. The Tech Index gained 1.4%, closing at 7,120 points. Tencent (00700) surged over 5%, CATL (03750) rose over 7% after earnings, Zhipu (02513) increased nearly 7%, and MINIMAX (00100) jumped over 9%, reaching a new high of HKD 1,148 since listing. Financial stocks rebounded, with HSBC (00005) and AIA (01299) up 3%. Oil prices retreated, with PetroChina (00857) down over 2%, and CNOOC (00883) down 1%.
