Clorox recently completed a five-year, $580 million project to upgrade its 20-year-old legacy ERP system to SAP S/4HANA, taking a greenfield approach. The company prioritized extensive employee training, totaling 38,000 hours for over 5,000 employees, and fostering transparency throughout the transition. Clorox also identified over 500 “super users” to support ongoing learning and emphasized that continuous communication and user-centric design are critical for successful ERP transformations.
