Trump Press Conference: Military Action Against Iran Will End Soon, Oil Prices Rise Less Than Expected Jin10 Data, March 10 — U.S. President Donald Trump stated at a press conference in Miami, Florida, that the military action against Iran will "end soon." Trump also said that he would have known that oil and gas prices would rise, and that the increase was lower than his expectations (overnight crude oil prices fell sharply); he expressed "disappointment" with the new leader of Iran; if Iran disrupts oil supplies, he will strike them more harshly and will lift some sanctions to lower oil prices. Notably, Trump claimed that Iran also has Tomahawk missiles in connection with the attack on a girls' school in Iran. Regarding the situation in the Americas, Trump again threatened Cuba at the press conference and announced that he would transport another 100 million barrels of oil from Venezuela.
