Study Times: Improving the Coordinated Function of Investment and Financing in the Capital Market

The Director of the National Finance and Development Laboratory at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences wrote in the Learning Times that to improve the coordinated functions of investment and financing in the capital market, we need to enhance the inclusiveness and adaptability of the capital market system, strengthen corporate governance and shareholder returns, attract long-term funds into the market and optimize the investor structure, diversify financial product offerings, and solidify foundational institutional safeguards. Ultimately, the goal is to build a capital market where investment and financing mutually promote each other and operate efficiently and collaboratively, making it a key hub for serving high-quality economic development and a core mechanism for safely increasing social wealth.
