The Swiss National Bank’s foreign exchange reserves fell to CHF 710 billion in February 2026, the lowest since May 2025, from an upwardly revised CHF 712 billion in the prior month. This marked the third successive decrease in foreign exchange reserves held by the central bank, prompted by a decline in other reserve assets (CHF -9 billion vs CHF 19 billion in January). Meanwhile, increases were seen in gold holdings (CHF 134.303 billion vs CHF 129.420 billion) and SDRs (CHF 10.016 billion vs CHF 9.996 billion).
