QFEX completes $9.5 million seed round funding and launches a 24/7 high-leverage RWA trading platform

Mars Finance reports that QFEX has completed a $9.5 million seed round of funding. The round was led by Yuri Sagalov, a partner at General Catalyst, with participation from Paul Graham, Y Combinator, and several other institutions and angels. Investors include NexusVP, Moonfire VC, Goodwater Capital, Liquid2V, 468 Capital, RitualVC, and others. QFEX describes itself as the first high-leverage trading platform led by a traditional financial team that offers 24/7 trading of traditional assets (RWA). It provides investors with up to 50x leverage for US stocks, commodities, and forex trading. The team members come from Citadel, Jump Trading, Optiver, Jane Street, Tower Research Capital, and Flow Traders.
