Backed by BKF Systems and the Royal National Institute of Blind People, TaluCard has been developed specifically for the 2.8 million people in the UK with vision impairment.
It includes tactile guidance markers and Braille and replaces PIN-based authentication with, IDEX Biometrics’ fingerprint tech, enabling unlimited contactless transactions.
Anders Storbråten, CEO, IDEX Biometrics, says: “By embedding identity into the card, we eliminate fraud vectors from lost or stolen credentials. The result is faster, more intuitive payments for everyone. This is what the future of payment security looks like.”
