The Central Television reporter learned on March 2nd local time that Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi sent a letter to the United Nations Secretary-General and the Security Council regarding the attack by the United States and Israel that resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei. The letter stated that the United States and Israel launched a new round of unwarranted and unjustified aggressive actions against Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, deliberately targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei on February 28th. This act has set a dangerous and unprecedented precedent, undermining the fundamental principles of sovereignty and mutual respect among nations. Heads of state are representatives of national sovereignty and, according to international law, should enjoy inviolability, respect, and protection. (CCTV News)
