Abstract generation in progress

The California Department of Justice has settled with The Walt Disney Company for $2.75 million regarding violations of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Disney was accused of failing to honor consumer requests to opt-out of personal information sales and sharing across all linked devices and services. This settlement is the largest CCPA settlement in California’s history and requires Disney to implement robust account-wide opt-out mechanisms.
