Tech Home March 4 News, according to iFanr reports, previously Apple executives revealed that the Chinese version of the iPhone will support eSIM quick transfer functionality, allowing users to transfer their number directly from one iPhone to another. Now, this feature has been launched with the iPhone 17e.
Public information shows that the Chinese version of the iPhone 17e uses the same C1X modem as the iPhone Air, with a single physical SIM card + eSIM design, supporting “activate 1 physical SIM + 1 eSIM” or “activate 2 eSIMs simultaneously.”
In other aspects, the iPhone 17e still adopts design elements from the iPhone 14/15 series, weighs 170 grams, which is 3 grams heavier than the iPhone 16e.
The device features a 6.1-inch 2532x1170 resolution 60Hz OLED display (typical brightness 800 nits, HDR peak brightness 1200 nits), with a 48MP single rear camera (equivalent to 26mm), and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Powered by the A19 processor, it claims to be Apple’s smart device preparation, with a battery that supports up to 30 hours of video playback, and adds MagSafe / Qi2 15W magnetic wireless charging (IT Home note: iPhone 16e supports Qi 7.5W wireless charging).
