At the first “Member Channel” session of the Fourth Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference held on March 4th, Pan Jianwei, Executive Vice President of the University of Science and Technology of China, introduced several breakthroughs in China’s quantum technology during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. “We are vigorously promoting the development of quantum technology, with quantum communication maintaining international leadership, quantum computing firmly ranking among the top in the world, and multiple directions in quantum precision measurement making leapfrogging advances internationally,” he said. “During the 15th Five-Year Plan, we will continue to strengthen original innovation, promote deep integration of industry, academia, and research, accelerate the transformation of achievements, and enable quantum technology to better serve the cultivation of new productive forces and support high-quality economic and social development.”
