Qatar states that an Iranian missile struck a US military base

Qatar’s Ministry of Defense stated that a ballistic missile launched by Iran on that day hit the U.S. military’s Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, causing no casualties. Another ballistic missile was intercepted by Qatar’s air defense system. The U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar is located about 35 kilometers southwest of Doha, the capital, and approximately 200 kilometers from the Iranian border. It hosts about 10,000 U.S. troops and is one of the largest U.S. military bases in the Gulf region. (CCTV News)
