(MENAFN) Türkiye’s embassies in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia issued safety advisories on Saturday for Turkish citizens following joint US-Israel airstrikes on Iran.

The Turkish Embassy in Abu Dhabi instructed residents in the UAE to monitor developments closely and follow guidance from both the embassy and local authorities. In Qatar, the embassy in Doha urged citizens to stay updated through announcements from the embassy and Qatari authorities.

Similarly, the Turkish Embassy in Manama called on citizens in Bahrain to adhere to guidance from the embassy and local officials, stressing compliance with security measures. The Riyadh embassy advised Turkish nationals in Saudi Arabia to remain vigilant, follow local authority directives, and stay informed of potential travel disruptions, including delays or cancellations.

The advisories follow a joint US-Israel operation launched early Saturday, described as targeting alleged threats from the “Iranian regime,” with statements released by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the strikes.
