The news department of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service issued a statement on the 24th, stating that their information shows the UK and France realize that, based on the development of the Ukraine situation, the Ukrainian armed forces are unable to achieve victory over Russia. The statement said some believe that if Kyiv possesses nuclear bombs, or at least so-called “dirty bombs,” they could secure more favorable conditions to end military operations. The statement added that, according to current information held by Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, London and Paris are actively working on providing such weapons to Kyiv. According to TASS, when asked about the possibility of the UK and France supplying nuclear bombs to Ukraine, Peskov said this openly violates international law. When asked whether Russia would consider the above information from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, Peskov replied that Russia would consider this information in relevant negotiations because “it could be very dangerous information.” As of press time, no official responses from the UK or France have been seen regarding these statements.
