Over 60 protestors, organized by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), demonstrated against RTX Corporation at a UMass career fair, despite RTX not being physically present. The protest highlighted the company’s role as an American aerospace and defense manufacturer, which supplies systems to the U.S. and allies like Israel. Speakers, including SGA President Michael Borowski and activist Christian Smalls, condemned the university’s ties to RTX and called for ethical employment options for students, distributing pamphlets and “I won’t work for Raytheon” pins.
