Ates' net profit in 2025 is 1.021 billion yuan, a decrease of 54.56% year-on-year.
Canadian Business Daily News (Reporter Wang Manlei): On February 28, Canadian Solar (688472) released its 2025 performance forecast, showing the company achieved a total revenue of 40.256 billion yuan for the year, a decrease of 12.8% year-on-year; corresponding net profit attributable to shareholders was approximately 1.021 billion yuan, down 54.56% year-on-year.
Canadian Solar stated that during the reporting period, the decline in module shipments led to a decrease in revenue compared to the same period last year. Additionally, increases in tariff costs and overall manufacturing costs of products caused gross profit margin to decline. Moreover, growth in energy storage revenue and a slight increase in average selling price of modules offset some of the impact. The company also reported a decrease in non-recurring gains and losses, such as government subsidies recognized in current profit or loss, compared to the same period last year.
