Firefighters battle blaze at oil refinery in Russia's Krasnodar region

Feb 28 (Reuters) - Firefighters were trying to bring under control a tank ablaze at a refinery in southern Russia’s Krasnodar region, local officials said early on Saturday.

The region’s “operational headquarters,” writing on Telegram, said the blaze had broken out at the refinery in the town of Novominskaya, north of the regional centre of Krasnodar.

The post said 39 firefighters had been deployed at the site, where a tank and surrounding area were on fire.
