Guizhou Moutai responds to "Feitian factory price increase of 130 yuan": false information. Some distributors say they have not received any price adjustment notifications.

Red Star Capital Bureau, February 25 — Today, regarding the news that “Feitian Moutai factory price has been raised to 1,299 yuan per bottle,” a Moutai distributor told Red Star Capital Bureau that they have not received any official notification.

Previously, there were reports that starting February 24, the factory price of Feitian Moutai was increased from 1,169 yuan per bottle to 1,299 yuan per bottle. According to Cailian Press, Guizhou Moutai responded that the claim of “Feitian Moutai factory price increase” is false. As of press time, Guizhou Moutai (600519.SH) has not officially announced any related updates.

Red Star Capital Bureau noted that the last time the factory price of Feitian Moutai was increased was in November 2023, when Guizhou Moutai issued a notice that the factory prices of 53% vol Guizhou Moutai (Feitian, Wuxing) were raised, with an average increase of about 20%.

In January this year, Red Star Capital Bureau learned from Moutai distributors that Guizhou Moutai had lowered the factory prices of aged Guizhou Moutai (15), boutique Moutai, Moutai 1935, and other products, with some products decreasing by more than 1,000 yuan. (Previous report: Multiple Guizhou Moutai products’ factory prices were reduced, with the largest cut being 1,990 yuan, and there were also price reductions on the sales side.)
