The Power Packet Switching Architecture (PPSA) is a novel power conversion topology that uses software switching and 100% indirect power transfer. With PPSA, all incoming electrical energy is temporarily stored in AC link magnetic storage components. This allows products with PPSA functionality to have insulation (grounding capability) while being significantly smaller than traditional inverter and non-inverter power supplies.
