Compared to Ethereum's different node participation mechanisms, Fogo raises the hardware requirements for nodes to a new level, truly reflecting its "data center chain" characteristics. The high hardware threshold almost deters ordinary users, which makes me wonder: can this centralized model withstand the test of regulatory pressure? I looked into Solana's ecosystem and found that its relaxed participation mechanism opens up more possibilities for the general public. This user-centric design philosophy makes me think that Fogo might be at a disadvantage in future competition. Occasionally, I was shocked by the instability of Fogo's RPC nodes during actual use; although transactions eventually went through, data synchronization issues meant users could miss trading opportunities during brief moments of inconsistency. In this hardware-centric era, who truly holds the central position in the decision-making chain? It’s definitely not those who rely solely on quick block times for visual victory. Whether Fogo's actual performance matches its publicity is something every industry observer should ponder. Future competition won't depend on performance metrics at a single moment but on building a comprehensive ecosystem. Whether Fogo can find a true balance between decentralization and high performance will determine its survival potential. I believe that rebuilding user trust is the top priority for Fogo, and only within a highly transparent ecosystem can sustainable development be truly achieved.
