Argentina has reduced nearly 22,000 companies within two years

Recent data released by Argentina’s Occupational Risk Supervision Agency shows that nearly 22,000 companies have been reduced in the country over the past two years. The agency stated in a report that the number of registered businesses in Argentina decreased from over 510,000 in November 2023 to over 490,000 in November 2025. During the same period, registered employment fell from 9.857 million to 9.567 million, losing nearly 300,000 jobs. (Xinhua)
