Earlier this year, I almost decided not to speak at conferences anymore. Almost, but not quite.
It seems that over the past two years, all topics have boiled down to the same thing — old good repetitions, and the world of cryptocurrencies has indeed become a little boring.
Until last week, when the Red Bull Racing team partner day happened.
I initially planned to briefly mention our past collaboration for just 5 minutes, to tell other sponsors about the successful story of our digital collectible campaign "IN THE MOMENT."
But here’s what happened:
🕒 At first, they said I could speak for only 2 minutes, I didn’t really expect much
🔗 I intentionally linked the content to the morning presentation to make it more relevant
😄 I also inserted a few of my usual jokes ( to lighten the atmosphere a bit )
🗣️ The entire story was told in simple English, without technical terms or jargon
I didn’t expect that after it was over, several partners would come up and say they really liked my presentation, that I explained everything very well.
Of course, some compliments could have been politeness and formality. But they didn’t know that these very reviews reignited my desire to continue.
Many of those present might already be tired of listening to me.
But for 94% of people around the world who are not yet familiar with cryptocurrencies, everything I share could be their first introduction to crypto — just like for the Red Bull Racing partners from finance, telecommunications, luxury, automotive, transportation, hospitality, lifestyle, and consumer electronics.
The path to mainstream is still very long, but moments like these suddenly remind me: it’s worth continuing.
